Dear all,
The 8th senior state Muaythai championship and 2nd Wai kru championship held at EK Narayanan Square, Kochi on February 10, 11 & 12 was very successful. The championship was conducted by AJT martial arts academy, one of the well-known martial arts clubs in Kerala.
Our heartfelt thank to Ajith TS sir and Joseph John Chirayil sir who led the affairs from the front line of the organizing committee. We are also thankful to Manu, Rahul, Vishnu, Ranjith of AJT martial art’s academy and all the organizing committee members who worked tirelessly round the clock for this program.
137 athletes from 10 districts participated in the championship.
The official affairs of the Championship were handled by international Referee Daya Chand Bola, national referees Jayarajan, Ashkar Basheer, Mujeeb Rahman, Rajmohan VR, Finas CT, Babin and south India level referees Vaisakh RS, Fahad A,Pradeep,Rajesh, Anil Angel, Anoop and Ajay. Their role in making the championship a huge success cannot be overstated.
In the 8th senior state championship, Thrissur district became the champion (64 points). Following districts got 2nd to 5th position

Special thanks to all the coaches and district officials who trained and brought players from 10 districts.
